Argentina and The Fishing

regiosn of the country. The Atlantic Coast, the Mesopotamia and

Fishing Dorados
The dorado is native of the zone of the Mesopotamia, on the northeast
region of Argentina and is surrounded by the rivers Uruguay and
Parana. In the water courses of the north of Corrientes you can
obtain units of up to 25 kilos. For many years, angling dorados
has been practiced in the zone and now flyfishing dorados is becoming
popular in the Moconá Jumps, Goya, the Iberá marshes
and surroundings.
Fishing Trouts
At the beginning of the XIX century, the expert Francisco Pascasio
Moreno (to whom the famous glacier owes its name) introduced in
waters of the South these species of salmónidos which are
famous for its size and abundance. As they are pure, these species
are more attractive and aggressive. Anglers from all over he world
visit the Patagonia annually to be meassured with the appraised
trouts.
Fishing Sharks
Here are about ten varieties of sharks in he waters of the South
Atlantic in the San Blas Bay, in Buenos Aires Province (almost in
Río Negro Province). Especies such as copper shark, cow shark
or dogfish are an excellent excuse to be embarked on an adventure
towards the open and infinit sea. Anglers have captured sharks of
up to 180 kilos and up to 3 metres.
